This is a few weeks later. I am in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after having my gallbladder removed. No link with the Urfa giardia, I'd had gallstone problems for years without recognizing what they were. People often go home the same day after operation; I was in for two days. I had more pain than usual and started going into shock at one point. When this photo was taken, I had a catheter in my hand and still needed help to sit up.
