N:"Croanick" must be Gaelic "coronach", lament.
N:Not published by McGlashan himself. Presumably it was originally in
N:D for the fiddle. The most similar codes in Gore's Scottish Fiddle
N:Music Index are for "Caidil gu Lo" (Patrick McDonald, 1784) and "Sleep
N:on Till Day" (Beauties of Niel Gow volume 2). It seems vaguely related
N:to "Lochaber No More".
